Indometal: the International Metal & Steel Trade Fair for Southeast Asia This new edition took place from 17/10/18 to 19/10/18 and two of our delegates were there!

Last October ISO-tech Belgium sent out two delegates to visit the Indometal show in Jakarta. The Indonesian market is of great interest to our company as it holds a very large foundry industry. Our goal was to meet with the major key players and establish new business relations with potential distributors. The latter complimented the quality of our mica slip planes. Out of the sample grades we showed them, both mica foil ISO-foil ‘R’ and mica combi ISO-combi were praised.

In the last 3 years, ISO-tech Belgium has increased its sales by 150% every year in the South East Asia region. It seems the Indonesian market will help us in keeping the trend go in the near future. Trial orders are soon to be shipped and should be run in late winter. We look forward to them.

The Indometal show is held every other year. The latest one took place at the Jakarta International Expo on 17-19^th October 2018. The 203 exhibitors welcomed more than 6500 visitors. The organizers, both Messe Düsseldorf Asia and PT Wakeni, were very satisfied with the 15% rise in comparison to the 2016 edition. The next date is set for October 2020.
